Doral Academy - Pebble Campus #1

Rhiannon Joel is the director overseeing both Doral Pebble campuses. She has run the Aprende program for the past three years and prior to joining our team she taught Pre-K for over 15 years.

Rhiannon obtained her degree while living in Michigan with a focus in elementary education and is currently attending UNLV to secure another degree with a concentration in early childhood education. Along with maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, she is a mother to four children of her own.

Her passion is her family and her career, stating that the education of young children has always been the route she wanted to take in her career. In her free time you can typically find her cheering her children on in their academic and athletic events.

Hello, my name is Nikki, the students will call me Mrs. Orellana. I am so excited to join the Aprende Family! I majored in Early Child Development in college and have over seven years experience in the classroom setting.

I was born and raised in Southern California, where I met my husband, Rene. We have lived in Las Vegas for the past eight years. I have dedicated the past ten years to being a full-time mom to three kids, and I am now ready to pursue my passion of teaching. On most weekends, you'll find me crafting with my kiddos, spending time at all the beautiful parks, and exploring our incredible city.

I cannot wait to spend the next year learning and growing with your littles!
